Hey there, I’m Victoria
I'm a Vermont native who fell in love with Colorado and am grateful to call it home. I met my husband in Denver, and together we are raising our family while navigating the beautiful, messy, and ever-changing journey of parenthood. I am a mom of four—two sons and a daughter whom I have the privilege of raising, and our daughter, Lily, whose legacy we have lovingly stewarded since her death shortly after her birth in 2021.
My own experiences with motherhood, grief, complicated pregnancies and births, and healing deeply shape the work I do. In addition to being one half of the team behind The Motherhood Collective, I am the founder and owner of Mayflower Counseling, where I specialize in individual counseling that supports and empowers women, mothers, and couples navigating the perinatal period. My clinical expertise includes perinatal mental health, pregnancy and infant loss, grief, rare and life-limiting fetal diagnoses, perinatal trauma, and the many transitions that accompany motherhood. I am passionate about creating spaces where women can show up exactly as they are—without pressure to have it all figured out.
When I'm not working, you'll likely find me hiking Colorado trails, running, enjoying game nights with family and friends, or watching old episodes of Jeopardy. I feel most at home when I'm outdoors with the people I love.
My hope is that through The Motherhood Collective, we can help create a community where mothers feel seen, supported, and connected—not just during one stage of motherhood, but throughout the entire journey.
Who I am as a Counselor
I believe counseling is a deeply relational process of self-growth and return to self. The work you do in therapy is sacred and meaningful, and it is a true honor to hold space for you within it.
Therapy is not only about mental health—it is about your whole being. I hold a deep respect for your well-being in all its forms: mind, body, spirit, emotions, relationships, rhythms of daily life, and the invisible weight you may carry. As integrated beings, when one part of us feels out of balance, the rest of us is inevitably impacted. Counseling becomes a space to gently reconnect these parts and restore a sense of steadiness, alignment, and ease within yourself.
My work is grounded in an integrative, person-centered approach, anchored in presence, attunement, and relational depth.I believe healing happens in the context of being deeply seen and safely known. In our work together, your lived experiences, values, identity, motherhood, hopes, and beliefs are not only welcomed—they are central to the process.
At the heart of my work is the belief that you already carry within you the capacity for healing, clarity, and wholeness. Therapy is a space where we slow down enough to access that inner knowing, make sense of your experiences, and gently support your return to congruence and self-trust. I integrate thoughtful clinical tools alongside what matters most to you—your values, identity, and inner wisdom—to support meaningful insight and lasting change.
I do not believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. Especially for mothers and women carrying the complexity of multiple roles, seasons, and identities, care must be intentional and individualized. Your therapy experience will be thoughtfully tailored to your needs, your nervous system, and your current season of life.
Throughout our work together, I aim to offer a space that feels grounding and restorative—where your story is held with care, your emotions are met with compassion, and nothing within you needs to be minimized or rushed. Above all, I hope you experience therapy here as a place where you feel deeply seen, safely held, and quietly returned to yourself.
Training.
Credentials.
Education.
Training. Credentials. Education.
I believe it is essential that clients feel confident in and deeply trust the clinicians they choose to work with. This is especially true in motherhood, where the experiences we carry can be deeply personal, vulnerable, and life-changing.
While I firmly believe lived experience has deep value and can shape how we show up as clinicians, I also believe personal experience alone is not what qualifies someone to become an expert in maternal mental health. Specialized training, clinical experience, ongoing education, and professional credentials matter. Because of that, I believe transparency about my background, training, and qualifications is important.
With more than a decade of experience in the mental health field, I bring a broad range of clinical experience alongside specialized training and advanced expertise in perinatal mental health. As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Provider (PMH-C), I have completed extensive training in the prevention, identification, and treatment of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, pregnancy and infant loss, birth trauma, and the unique challenges that can arise throughout the journey into and through motherhood.
My work is grounded in both evidence-based clinical care, a personal and relationally oriented approach, and a deep respect for the complexity of each client's story. I am committed to ongoing learning and professional development so that the women, mothers, and families I serve receive care that is compassionate, informed, and clinically sound.
