A sliding scale model that aligns with our mission
At The Motherhood Collective, we believe every mother deserves access to meaningful therapeutic support—not just those who can comfortably afford the full cost of care. While our groups are led by highly trained perinatal mental health specialists and our regular fee reflects the true value of specialized clinical services, we recognize that financial circumstances should not be the reason a mother goes without the support she needs.
That's why we've adopted the Green Bottle Sliding Scale. This model allows moms to choose a fee that reflects both the value of the group and their current financial circumstances. Those who are able to contribute beyond the standard fee help make it possible for another mother to participate at a reduced rate. Likewise, moms experiencing financial hardship can access support at a lower cost without sacrificing the quality of care they receive.
As mothers, we naturally look out for one another. We celebrate each other's joys, show up in times of hardship, and understand that we are stronger when no one has to carry motherhood alone. The Green Bottle model allows us to put those values into practice, creating a community where generosity, compassion, and shared support help ensure more mothers have access to the care they deserve.
Together, we're building more than therapy groups—we're building a community where each woman and mother knows she is welcomed, supported, and cared for.
The Tiers
Tier One
This tier is intended for mothers who would not otherwise be able to participate due to financial hardship. You may choose this option if paying the full fee would create significant financial strain or require sacrificing basic needs. We want cost to be as small a barrier as possible to receiving the support you need.
One spot available per group
Tier Two
This tier is for mothers who are able to contribute toward the cost of the group but would find the full fee difficult to sustain. If your budget requires thoughtful planning or you are balancing competing financial responsibilities, this option allows you to receive specialized support at a reduced rate while still contributing to the shared cost of the group.
Two spots available per group
Tier Three
This fee reflects the actual cost of providing our therapeutic groups, including the expertise of licensed perinatal mental health specialists, clinical preparation, materials, and the time invested before, during, and after each session. If this fee is manageable for you, choosing this tier helps sustain the ongoing availability of our groups.
Tier Four
This tier is for mothers and families who have the financial flexibility to contribute beyond the true cost of the group. Your additional contribution directly helps make specialized therapeutic support more accessible for mothers who need a reduced fee. By choosing this option, you are investing not only in your own well-being, but also in the health and healing of another mother in our community

No, this sliding scale approach is based on trust. We trust a client’s ability to accurately and honestly assess their financial reality, basic needs, and expendable income.
-
To keep our groups financially sustainable while making them as accessible as possible, tiers one and two have a limited number of available spots. If your preferred tier is full, we'll let you know before you register.
If you're able, you may choose to register at a higher tier. If that isn't feasible, you're welcome to join the waitlist for your preferred tier. Should a spot become available, we'll contact you as soon as possible.
Our goal is never to create unnecessary barriers to care. We are committed to working with mothers whenever we can and will do our best to help you find a path to the support you need, whether through our available resources or community resources and referrals.
-
We recognize that financial circumstances can change over time, and the tier you choose today may not be the one that best fits your situation in the future.
We invite you to select the tier that most accurately reflects your current financial reality at the time of registration. If your circumstances change, you're welcome to move to a different tier for future group sessions, provided space is available.
Some mothers may find they need a lower-cost option during one season of life, while others may later choose to pay the true cost—or even become a Community Supporter—to help make groups more accessible for other moms. We trust you to choose the tier that feels both honest and sustainable for your family.
